About UsOriginally started as the Kaplan Gallery in St. James's, London in the early 1950’s. The company was bought by the Roberts family in 1971; who already had the highly successful fine art warehouse called The Cider House Galleries. The companies amalgamated under the Cider House Galleries banner with the second-generation directorship of Tony and Helen Roberts .
In the last 30 years the company has been privileged to supply works to the British, Dutch and Saudi Royal families, The Tate Gallery, London and The collection of Baron Thyssen.
