Willem Ackermann was a German / French painter of fine still lifes who is believed to have been working in Paris.
His work bears a strong resemblance to that of Jean-Louis Provost who was working at the same period.
The fact that the flowers are in the full bloom of summer but the trees are bare and in winter is clearly of some significance.

Very few works by Ackermann ever seem to come up for sale.
